Men’s Basketball Signs Jason Hull!
Trinity Athletics is excited to announce that men's basketball has signed South Wasco County standout Jason Hull! Hull had an amazing career at South Wasco being named Big Sky Player of the Year in back to back years! During his Junior and Senior year, he led all of Oregon in scoring averaging over 30 points per game! Hull finished his high school career as the Oregon 1A All-Time Leading Scorer with 2560 career points! That scoring record was held for over 74 years. Hull also holds the record for most points in a single season at 1072 points, and is the 9th player in Oregon history to score 60 points in a single game! Hull led South Wasco to two league championships, and a 6th place finish in the state tournament!
When asked why he chose to attend Trinity Bible College Hull Stated: "I wanted to attend a school that is Christ centered. I had great conversations with Coach Nowell, I felt genuinely valued and knew Trinity would be a great place to continue my basketball career. Furthermore Trinity felt like the right fit for me, I attended college days last spring and the people, culture, and programs all felt like the right place where I could succeed.
Trinity Bible College is an institution for students to grow in their faith, get an education, and compete at a high level as athletes. We are excited to add Jason, he fits our culture on campus perfectly!
In the words of head Coach Jordan Nowell: "I couldn't be more thrilled that Jason has chosen to continue his basketball career at Trinity! Jason is a talented scorer and a great person. I've really enjoyed getting to know Jason and his family. He will be an amazing addition to our team. I expect great things from Jason because of his skill, work ethic, and dedication to his craft. Having him on the court this fall is going to be fun to watch! I can't wait to see the new dimensions that Jason is going to add to our offense this next season!"
