HOW IT HAPPENED
Jan 12th -
It looked to be and even battle in the first as the Lady Lions traded buckets back and forth with the Lady Mikinocks in the first but were able to gain a slight lead on them right before the end of the1st quarter.
The Lady Lions were up 27 to 21
The 2nd quarter was more Lady Lions as they extended their lead over the Mikinocks in what was turning out to be a high scoring game.
The Lady Lions went into halftime up 49 to 35.
In the 3rd quarter the tides of the game had changed as the Lions were out scored 14 to 26.
The Lady Lions held on to a slight lead going into the 4th quarter 63 to 61.
As the 4th quarter was almost over the Lions found themselves with Arianna Bigart at the line, 14 seconds left tied ball game.
Bigart hits her first free-throw, but misses her second giving the Mikinocks one final opportunity to win the game.
The Mikinocks got a good look at the basket but were not able to capitalize.
Final Score: Lady Lions 82 Lady Mikinocks 81
Jan 13th –
Straight off a long game the previous night in which the Lions were able to come up with the one point victory, TMCC and TBC would face off again.
The 1st quarter looked as though it would be a repeat of last night's game as the score went back and forth the whole first ending in a dead lock 19 to 19.
The 2nd quarter the Lady Lions were able to make a run allowing them to go into halftime with the lead.
The Lady Lions went into halftime with a 7 point lead, 34 to 27.
The Lady Lions used a big 3rd quarter to gain control of the game and never looked back.
The Lady Lions were up 57 to 33 heading into the 4th quarter.
TMCC spent the 4th quarter trying to close the gap but the Lady Lions were able to hold on for the win.
The Lady Lions beat TMCC 78 to 44.

- The Lady Lions shot 67 percent from the field (31/46), 62 percent on 3's (5/8) and 68 percent on FT's (15/22).
- TMCC shot 55 percent from the field (32/58), 35 percent on 3's (5/14) and 54 percent on FT's (12/22).

- The Lady Lions shot 48 percent from the field (29/60), 29 percent on 3's (6/21) and 87 percent on FT's (14/16).
- TMCC shot 25 percent from the field (13/52), 19 percent on 3's (5/26) and 87 percent on FT's (13/15).
-The Lady Lions had 3 players in double figures led by Emma Logan who had 25 points.
-The Lady Lions had 15 turnovers but were able to force 24 by TMCC.
