#8 Lions Pull off a Huge Upset Taking down #1 Sisseton-Wahpeton

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lions started off strong just coming of two losses in a row to the Mustangs during regular season play last week.

The Lions used a 7-0 run to their advantage finding themselves at 18-11 midway through the first half.

The Mustangs would close the gap and hit a last second three going into halftime.

The Mustangs took the 45 to 41 lead into halftime.

The 2nd half saw the Lions and Mustangs continue to battle as the Lions would regain the lead with 10minutes left in the game.

The Mustangs weren't done yet as they go on a run of their own tying the game with 2 minutes left on the clock, 91 to 91.

With one second left the Lions find themselves under their basket. The inbounds play is run to perfection as Josh Bauska catches the pass from Korey Harris on the back side block. Bauska goes up for the layup and is fouled sending him to the line with time expired. Bauska sinks the free throw and the game is over.

The Lions close out the game and advance to the Semi-Finals of the Conference Tournament.

The Lions beat the Mustangs 94 to 93
